Matchsticks are stand-alone programs that are designed to set foundations and strengthen the creative capabilities of individuals and groups. Oriented for direct application to the business world and its challenges.

All Matchstick Programs can be taken individually. Those marked with a "C" or "B" are packaged as part of the Crinking and Beacon series, respectively.

  • Practice the use of the tools
  • Know when to use which tools for best results


Ideation 2     [C]

Participants Will:

  • Know advanced ideation tools including Metaphoric Thinking and visioning
  • Practice the use of the tools
  • Know when to use which tools and how to facilitate their use


Identify & Improve Ideas     [C]

Participants Will:

  • Experience how to discover concepts among ideas
  • Understand the difference between concepts and actionable ideas
  • Know techniques to narrow and combine ideas and to select high potential ideas
  • Learn techniques to take ideas from good to great


Implement - Ideas to Reality     [C]

  • Know numerous idea capture processes and when to use them
  • Discover the use of computers in capturing ideas
  • Discern what works best for their needs


Problem Identification     [B]

Participants Will:

  • Know numerous techniques to discover the true problem to be solved
  • Discern when a problem is a symptom of a problem earlier in the cycle
  • Understand when to use different techniques and practice the techniques

  • Know how to report information so it is engaging

  • Learn and practice tools to enhance their meetings and engage people

Participants Will:

  • Understand different thinking styles in the context of the creative process
  • Know techniques to expand their thinking to other styles, and use the diverse thinking of individuals in a group
  • Know the context for building creative teams by making thinking diversity a part of the process


Thinking Maps

Participants Will Learn:

  • Three techniques to use as a catalyst for problem identification and creative problem solving
  • How to apply the techniques to jumpstart creativity and enhance the flow of creative ideas
  • How to use the techniques for both individual thinking and group thinking


Leave Work Energized

Participants Will:

  • Know how to maintain and maximize their energy, productivity and zest
  • Learn to recreate the abundant energy they had as a child
  • Understand the worst energy traps and create solutions to overcome them


Think Like DaVinci

Participants Will:
